Alvaro,

We'll get to the bottom of this, but first, could you five me some information on your DNN installation? Version #, and also check the event log and see if there are any errors related to the sitemap module. Also, one

FYI, I am running DNN 4.6.2 and SiteMap 3.8 on this site, here is the URL to the XML SiteMap: http://www.inspectorit.com/SiteMap/tabid/567/IsForGoogleSiteMap/true/Default.aspx

Thank you.

I'm running version 4.05.01. My hosting provider has turned my log file off...arggg!  just submitted a ticket for it to be turned back on!

The module is located at http://www.selectica.com/SiteMap/tabid/358/Default.aspx

I have your application running on another website and it seems to work great...just having problems with this one!

Thanks,

Alvaro

This is weird indeed. I cannot find any clue as to why this is happening on that server only (No one else ever experienced this before, that I know of).

Please let me know when you get the log turned on.

Thanks.

I had the same problem. If you look at the URL generated by the sitemap link you will see an additional www added to the link - http://www.www.mywesbite.com.au/default.aspx?tabid=106&IsForGoogleSiteMap=true

Remove that and the sitemap generates fine.

I also have a similar problem.

The file starts like this:

http://www.rekindleyourmarriage.org/wwme12/default.aspx?tabid=56

At the bottom of the file, I see:

The XML page cannot be displayed

Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

Hi Memry,

could you please provide the url generated by the module? I would like to take a look at it.

Thanks.

Thanks, but I cannot figure out how that "
" markup is getting in there (which is what is breaking your xml sitemap).
The sitemap generation code does not have anything that puts "
" tags, so I am not sure how it is getting in there.

Can you please check your "Oahu" page and make sure that there are no HTML tags in the title? Or Link?

Let me know.

After further research, I found that you must be running DNN Master's Automatic SEO module.
This module is the one causing your trouble not the SiteMap.

I found this thread and hope this helps:

http://www.dnnmasters.com/Default.aspx?tabid=55&forumid=40&threadid=2876&scope=posts

Please ask them why their XP IDEA Error message is showing in your SiteMap xml (which is what is causing the malformed output).

Hope this helps, and thank you for chosing our products.
